I do not profress to know, nor would I ever want to know, what it's like to be fighting a battle with cancer. My heart breaks everytime I hear of someone, and their loved ones, fighting this battle.
Each year, we always make a contribution in hopes that there will one day be a cure. In the meantime, I wanted to do one more little thing in hopes that my show of support may help just one person as they fight this horrible disease...

Wow, Yvette! Your gorgeous hair...you look even more like Jon now! You'll have made someone very happy with your gift, of that I'm sure. What a wonderful gesture.
luv ya lots....mom v.
Yay - congrats Yvette!!! Eline did this in June, and I was originally going to let my hair grow long to contribute as well, but it wouldn't grow :( Speaking as someone who has seen a sister-in-law battle with Breast cancer, go through Chemo and Radiation and have to wear a wig, thank you very much for your donation. It really does make a difference! (any time of year )
I did this about 12 years ago and donated 9 inches of virgin hair. It felt so good to do! Congratulations! (You look cute!)
Hey Vet,
I'm trying to do the same thing, but still growing my hair over a year later!!!
Yvette - what a wonderful thing to do! I have seen many children go through cancer treatment, and losing their hair very traumatic for some of them - especially the teen-aged girls. Someone will have a beautiful wig because of you.
you look ten years younger in this photo! I hope you are well.
